THE team behind England’s bid to host the World Cup in 2018 has called up Skelmersdale agency Loaf Creative as an official supplier.

The design and digital specialist will be creating a range of online content for the bid that can be downloaded by individual and corporate supporters.

It includes interactive applications and graphics designed to raise awareness of the bid.

FIFA will decide in December whether England, which faces competition from rivals including Russia and Japan, will host the event.

In the meantime, the country’s bid team wants to encourage more of companies and individuals to back the bid.

Jo Vertigan, head of digital at England 2018, said: “I am delighted to be working with Loaf Creative whose skill in creating digital assets will help provide a new set of digital tools to enable fans from around the world to get involved with the bid and follow the latest news.”

Loaf, which began in a back bedroom in Orrell, now works with clients including Heinz and Lancashire County Council. It opened a Liverpool studio last year.

Tom Downing, digital director at Loaf Creative, said “We are excited and proud to be a supplier for England’s 2018 World Cup bid.

“The work we are developing with the bid team is with long-term goals in mind and we are thrilled about the opportunity to help increase awareness not only in England, but globally.”

The bid team says more than 1m people have already backed its efforts. Celebrity supporters include Eddie Izzard, Ant and Dec, Stephen Fry, Noel Gallagher, Sting, Countdown hosts Jeff Stelling and Rachel Riley, Britain’s Got Talent judges Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan, and Miss England Katrina Hodge.

Twelve cities, including Liverpool, have been named as candidate host cities.

Follow the instructions for taking the liquids and look forward to improvements.
Generally, they work quickly if you are treating a short-lived problem. But, they take longer if you are working on a chronic problem. If you?ve had it for months the remedies won?t work in only a few days.

As treatment progresses, you can adjust it to suit the way you feel, by adding or removing remedies.

The very popular Rescue Remedy range should have quick and dramatic results since it is meant to be used in emergency situations.

To make this system work for you need to be aware of what each remedy is used for. Then you can match your personality to the remedy or remedies and take it from there.

Flower Remedies are not meant to replace vital medical treatment, but you can use them in conjunction with treatment. There are similarities to homeopathy but the therapies are not the same.

Just like homeopathic remedies, you can give Flower Remedies to animals and even plants.

Draw little use for Neston as leaders’ lead is slashed again

    0 Comments | Daily Post; Liverpool (UK), Aug 2, 2010 | by MikeTalbot-Butler

NESTON’s lead at the top of the ECB Premier Division of the Chapel Press Cheshire County League has been cut to a perilous two points with Hyde and Nantwich now breathing down their necks.

While Neston were being held to a losing draw at Oulton Park, both Hyde and Nantwich recorded clear-cut victories to continue their upward surges and put further pressure on the faltering Parkgate club.

Neston were outplayed on their visit to 2009 champions Oulton Park, but held out for a creditable draw to end a losing sequence. Skipper Nathan Dumelow smashed a rapid 105 and with his two young Cheshire colleagues Louis Bentley scoring 84 and Rick Moore 74, Oulton declared on 295-5. Neston struggled in reply when skipper Jack Smith was out for 46, but recovered thanks to a bright 40 from Andy Roberts, then a sparkling innings by left-hander Chris Hackett, who completed an unbeaten 103 with 16 runs off the last over as his side closed on 252-7. Nantwich won their sixth game in a row, by 97 runs at home to wooden-spoonists Bramhall and are level on points with Hyde. A magnificent undefeated innings of 105 by former New Zealand Test batsman Lou Vincent stole the show and with Ray Doyle (44 not out) and Chris Howell (42) giving him good support, the Dabbers declared at 228-3 off just 49 overs. In reply, Bramhall mustered just 131, Nick Cantello 35. Vincent took 3-22, while new Cheshire paceman Jimmy Warrington reached 50 wickets for the summer with a 3-62 return.

Title candidates Alderley Edge slipped back when they were unable to dislodge the last Bowdon batsmen in a rain-reduced, low-scoring draw at South Down Road.

Warren Goodwin posted his fourth League century of the season to steer Chester Boughton Hall to a five wickets win at Oxton

The world is in shambles as they watch each night on TV, Oil Prices skyrocket, Mexico has an Earthquake, illegal aliens flood US, Iran goes to war with Israel, China Take Taiwan back as US stands down, Hurricane Season, Typhoons, Indonesia earthquakes and civil unrest.?

Indeed and this is exactly what you would be dealing with too, of course you would find yourself with high enough oil prices that you could indeed get a comfortable return on investment if you started your own Ethanol or Oil Company.

And once you did all that work then you could charge any amount you wanted too and you would not have to say anymore; ?I Hate High Gasoline Prices for My SUV? because you would own the oil company and you could lower prices for me too okay? Sure you would.

And it’s no different for the war on weight loss. Body fat accumulation continues to be a major challenge, especially in America, where the availability of a comfortable lifestyle also comes with inherent stress and burdening psychological and social responsibilities.

Does anyone really know how to lose weight successfully in only three steps? The best answer to that question would be, to know how to choose the RIGHT three steps and perform them effectively.

Losing weight has been, and will virtually always be a multi-step process. This remains true primarily because there is no one, single factor that you can lean on to lose weight. Body fat, weight management, and their associated composition depend upon a myriad of personalized factors, including heredity, hormonal disposition, character, social responsibility, and stress reaction profile. Don’t forget the obvious ones, like food intake and energy expenditure…and even the time of day!

And, circadian rhythms play a part in weight control as well.

With all this in mind, weight loss comes down to three simple steps:

When it gets settled make sure you get a written confirmation of the correction. Keep this paperwork handy any time you go for a loan in the future. Just because the one company says they have or will correct their systems information does not mean they will or other companies will. You may need to attach the written report of the correction to your loan application. Be sure to ask the loan company?s representative if they would prefer that.

I remember when my loans officer called to tell me, ?we may have a problem?. What she was really saying was, no to my loan! I could not believe it, I have great credit, and I always paid my credit cards off in time. I have bought and paid off houses, lots of things. This is how I found out about credit report errors, the hard way.

The studies need to breplicated by an outside source. That means, by someone not linked and with no financial backing to the original study. Most often this does not happen. So many times you will see a blurb on a single study, done by Dr. X (a doctor?s name improves credibility to most people) recommending a plan or pill. This study often has many loopholes in its methods and has never been replicated for proof of credibility. Did you know that as of today, Atkins has not published one single study in a scientific peer reviewed journal? This ?diet? has been around for over twenty-five years. Do you think they?ve had enough time to do it? Then why haven?t they? The point is not to believe everything that you see or read.

Bayer Corp. Applauds ASSET Inc. on U.S. Department of Education

    0 Comments | U.S. Newswire, Aug 6, 2010

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ — Bayer Corporation congratulates ASSET Inc. (Achieving Student Success through Excellence in Teaching) for being selected by the U.S. Department of Education to receive a $22.3 million Investing in Innovation (i3) grant, a part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

ASSET was named one of the 49 winning finalists out of a group of nearly 1,700 schools, districts and education organizations competing for i3 funding nationwide.

Bayer created ASSET, a standards-based elementary school science education reform program, in 1994 as part of its national award- winning Making Science Make Sense(R) initiative. While ASSET is now an independent nonprofit organization, Bayer has remained a staunch supporter and has used it as a model to spearhead other science education reform initiatives around the country.

This achievement for ASSET is the latest in a long history of growth over the last 16 years.

In the early years, with ASSET beginning as a pilot program in five schools in two local school districts, Bayer provided most of the financial, human and intellectual resources for the project.

In 1995, ASSET garnered the first of what would become $5 million in National Science Foundation grants, helping it provide its system of teacher professional development and hands-on, inquiry centered curriculum materials to more schools throughout the region.

In 2000, when the NSF grants concluded, Bayer once again helped ASSET transition to a fee-for-service organization, allowing it to become independent and self-sustaining.

Since 2006, ASSET has received more than $56.9 million from the State of Pennsylvania to implement its program statewide for the Pennsylvania Department of Education under the name “Science Its Elementary.”

Today, ASSET provides hands-on, inquiry-based science and math professional development and materials to 180 school districts, 5,000 teachers and 142,000 students around the state.

ASSET is in the process of working to secure the 20 percent private sector match, which is a condition of being awarded an i3 grant. Corporations, organizations, foundations and individuals interested in supporting ASSET to reach this goal should contact Karen Ahearn, Director of Communications/ Resource Development at kahearn@assetinc.org. Information on ASSET’s i3 application may be viewed at http://data.ed.gov/grants/investing-in-innovation/ applicant/15864.
